If public libraries didn't already exist, capitalism wouldn't let you invent it. Can you imagine how many billions Jeff Bezos would plough into fighting the idea, destroying any politician who dared to back it?

@si_fuller Sorry, but in most countries that I know, a library is much more than printed books. They have their systems for ebooks as well! I also get newspapers, magazines, and audiobooks. @davidnjoku

@NatureMC @si_fuller @davidnjoku both things are not only compatible, but they are synergic:
- libraries offering a wide range of cultural items.
- ebook publishers hating them (for lending ebooks too!).
