The political violence hurled towards Green Party politicians in the UK is an example of how normal people are pushed out of politics so only sociopaths and the Corrupt remain.
Mothin Ali and Hannah Spencer have both had to resort to police protection (for what good that will do) simply for representing us in Politics. This is not normal, despite how the Press reports it.

@Lazarou 🙁 Two MPs were murdered this century (one from Labour and one from Tories), and four between 1979 and 1990 (all related to The Troubles, I think). Just in case anybody thought it was a theoretical problem.
No matter what opinion we have of some or all of our politicians, nobody should be pleased about this way of demonstrating it.

@PoliceStateUK I remember when that Tory MP who got caught out by Chris Morris with the fake drug 'Cake' was murdered by a random nutter.
And then the Labour MP murdered over Brexit, that wasn't a random nutter, that was political violence and it worked.
