Important features really don't trickle down on #Android land lol. Bizarre to me how ure 'advertising' fast refresh rate screens, 'triple cameras', (garbage) under-glass fingerprint scanner, and yet the phone has no eSIM support in 2026, something that has been available on #iPhone since the XR/XS in 2018.
I've even seen some that don't have NFC (again, available since iPhone 6 in 2014). Not to mention other nice to haves borderline essentials like #FeliCa being integrated on all iPhones (since iPhone 8) but not on Android phones unless you bought one spec from the Japanese market.
Istg, it's almost like #Apple specs their phones with future-proofing for REAL use-cases in mind, while Android manufacturers specs their phones for buzzwords. And before anyone even thinks this - no, iPhones aren't more expensive than these shitty, 'mid-range' Android phones. ~1-3 gen older models get heavily discounted online, brand new - and are often dirt cheap used (and getting them used is actually viable/safe unlike with most Android phones). And unlike most Android phones, these iPhones even when they're not the latest - still sports very capable flagship chips of their time, not shitty mid-range SOCs.
