Slightly more ambitious #FixItYourself today. Replaced a low beam headlight bulb, which required removal and refit of the air intake and dealing with the fiddly lamp fitting. Definitely buying a proper 10mm socket next time though. El cheapo shifter (which I bought perhaps 28ish years ago on a student budget) is a bit of a false saving as it makes every job slightly more annoying.

Still, total cost $25 and about half an hour including walking to Repco.

Also glad I took the advice of multiple youtubers and took photos as I went, I had to refer back to figure out the bulb orientation.

So anyway it's not the most costly repair but it's a whole lot quicker than getting someone else to fix it.
