I switched my little media streaming server back over to #ZimaOS from #Ubuntu. What a difference. Everything is just much easier to manage, especially for someone that in not too familiar in the home #networking/#homelab scene.

I like to tinker, but for this computer I just want it to work.

@jlw_the_jobber I had a bit of a bump, trying to remount my existing RAID drives in CasaOS without losing their data. The UI doesn't support that, and trying to hack it in place myself, not understanding anything about immutable distros, I kinda sorta got it working (assembled and mounted and smb shared), but couldn't get it to show up properly in the #ZimaOS UI.

@jlw_the_jobber Figured going with that would be storing up trouble for later, so I copied the data elsewhere, installed and formatted the raid through the UI, and am now copying the data back.

I've read that one can email IceWhale for support in situations like this, but I wanted it done today.
