@apc I had three great choices from one show, but I’m picking Anna’s unrequited love for Sosuke from Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines. In urging Sosuke to go after Karen before she leaves for school in England, Anna realizes the feelings she’s always had for him. They’re childhood friends and she always thought they would end up together. This really hits home as she joins the unwitting observer Kazuhiko (and eats his food) while explaining everything.
