#kdrama I had a go at #dynamitekiss because someone else enjoyed it. But onto ep2 and I'm not sure I'm enjoying it.

So I went back to TV adaptations of English classics, and Jane Austen #SenseAndSensibility ( which is about the same storyline as Dynamite Kiss? )

Oh I finished it! 2008 BBC #SenseAndSensibility 3 episodes - quite a good one for #internationalwomensday as Marianne pondered the point of men. #JaneAusten - who couldn't publish under her own name...

Every year, another tiny step forward for equality

Because I said to myself I'd watch all the #JaneAusten novel adaptations in publishing order, I've started the 1995 BBC Pride & Prejudice - like Jane Eyre I watched this at the time, also read the book - but "got to do the thing properly"!

@Tae156 S&S :That is exact the only one that never took me. Not in book, not in several filmings.
Still no idea why.

@hanktank61 I enjoyed it. Perhaps as viewed by a woman?

I'm going to work through #JaneAusten in the order they were published, which isn't the order they were written, and am going to have to go through P&P again if doing it properly!!

@Tae156 Seen from female view ? That might be possible. I read the book twice, watched two different series. Not remembering names even. With the other books, they come alive again by just reading a few lines. For P&P almost every detail. In the book and in the 1995- TV-drama. That one was really made true to the book in most ways. Lizzy and Mr. Darcy first time dancing at the Ball is epic.
Almost like a shoot-out in a Western cowboy-movie πŸ™‚ .
@Tae156 You should try My Dearest. Probably the best series of 2024. It’s basically Gone With the Wind, but in Joseon.
