When I picked up food yesterday from a restaraunt, they placed everything in a paper bag and advised me to hold the bottom as it could fall through.

When I went to the store today, they bagged my groceries and advised not to use the handles as they break easily and to hold the bottom as the food could fall through.

@Starcade it's like throwing a temper tantrum. They get told they can't have plastic bags anymore, so they buy the crappiest paper bags they can and make sure everyone knows how bad they are. Nevermind the stores that were using paper the whole time and have no trouble with their bags ripping...

The glued on handles on paper bags have never been reliable & if the bottom of a paper bag gets wet it will fall apart.

So I don't think these warnings are unjustified.
