Tested out some vegan German recipes for an upcoming movie night šŸŽ¬šŸ¤“ and leaning into part of my ancestry. šŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ

The potatoe dumplings were beyond delicious 🫠 & the vegan sausage roll reminded me of being on the slopes ā›·ļø

I was combining a few recipes and took a few shots in the dark that paid off! šŸ˜‹ Only change is for puffier pastry for the next rolls.

@rootschange try to use some starch instead of flour. If you make the dumplings from uncooked potatos or one half cooked, one half grated raw, try to use the starch from the grated potatos (let the grated potatos sit in water, use a cheese cloth to press the water out, let the water sit until the starch is on the ground of the bowl, remove the water & then you can use it)

But if you just cook all, use store bought starch instead of flour & maybe a little vegan skyr or melted vegan butter :)
