One of my all time favorites. Although I've mostly read her diaries rather than her fiction, they truly inspired me. She was also a pioneer self-published author back in the 1930s 😋

I only discovered her work recently, last year. A truly passionate soul, when reading her you can feel her pulse & veins.

I'm scheduling to read also her correspondence with Henry Miller.

A passionate author who spells clearly what matters to her. I have not yet come across anything in her writing about her lack of communication with her meaningful other half.

At least she did not seem to have this important aspect missing with her loved one.
