It is well documented that #Covid19 causes brain damage, and that the harm done is cumulative with repeated #SARS_CoV2 infections. As evidenced by the election just over a year ago, countless individual stories I’ve read of people having personality changes (never for the better), and (waves hands generally).

@edsuom

So, so many stories of this amongst friends and family. Of course, they don't see it, which is good in some ways, but really not in so many other.

I still and will always #wearaN95mask

I'm privileged, cautious, and lucky enough to still be NOVID. I can only imagine that adding the stress of brain fog, pain, getting sick all the time, etc., to our shared polycrisis wouldn't change anyone's personality for the better.

@Fishercat @edsuom

Oh, absolutely, that would all contribute. There is a huge amount of research - growing by the day - about the effects of SARS-COV-2 infection & re-infection on the brain, so that is the primary cause. But, as you say, these things certainly make it worse.

@Fishercat @kaffando @edsuom

OMG, a fellow Novid! We are one in 10,000!

@kimcrawley @kaffando @edsuom

None of the (four) people in my household have gotten it. But we've got a pretty stringent protocol.

Thanks for sharing it. My spouse is very active in the CC community, both locally and online. I'll point him at this so he can let folks who'd be interested know about it.
