I'd prefer not posting at the many ways the world sucks right now. But ignoring it would be wrong.

What I would like to talk about is that time I was using an Apple IIe I found for cheap and a power supply RIFA capacitor blew up, releasing a familiar smell (smelled it a few times before but didn't know much about RIFA caps when younger).

Anyway, it smelled awful. Then I replaced it with a another filter cap. Because fixing stuff is fun. That's the stuff I like to talk about.

Also food. And coffee. And travel. And cats. And gardening. Probably other stuff.

And maybe about making currently free parking spots not free? That would be very nice!

"metering just one-quarter of the currently free spaces would generate $1.3 billion annually while improving turnover for local businesses and reducing congestion."

I like this idea.
