@BrentToderian a great example of this is the infamous "15-Minute Cities" conspiracy, which was started by an anti-climate change group:

They spread lots of disinformation about supposed "climate lockdowns" that were coming and the 15-Minute City was just the one that stuck.

Their goals had nothing to do with cities; good urbanism was just collateral damage.

You can’t avoid the element of the automobile industry, having incentive to promote these as well. Corporations have an incentive to destroy walkable neighborhoods because their wealth is predicated on their operation in communities to extract the substance of them while making them completely dependent.

Locality is their enemy because they are built from centralization

The problem is that "the great reset" is not just a conspiracy theory. That's also what the billionaire club is actively trying to achieve, and those "not my future" eejits are helping them achieve it.
