Super disappointing that the Pathfinder: Kingmaker native Linux build falls over on portables once you unlock kingdom management. By all accounts the Windows version works absolutely fine under proton (haven't had a chance to test/play yet) - but disappointing nonetheless.

@BobDendry It’s a chronic problem that native ports are clunkier and more fragile nowadays than just using Proton. Partly a testament to Proton and partly a side-effect of the decent Linux porters leaving the biz or being incredibly overloaded.

Proton is both a blessing a curse. I still appreciate devs that put the effort in to a proper native port. I haven't got around to it yet but I'm impressed with how good a job the Baldur's Gate 3 port seems to be.
