Heard about an hour ago that @Bycats4cats - Snap E. Tiger - passed away. I'll miss him; I wasn't staying in as close a touch with him the last couple of years.

Here he is back in 2002.

@YsengrinWolf Yeah, someone else imparted the news in a local group, of the passing of @Bycats4cats.

I never interacted with him directly, but -- if I'm remembering right and not crossing my memory wires -- I do remember seeing him from the old FURSUIT email group days, and just onward from there, from the LiveJournal fursuit group to the WIP Zone group on TG.

He certainly seemed to be connected to a lot of folks. And so, yeah, his unexpected passing certainly appears to have been felt across a wide swath of the community.
