OK... Let's do this.

Because... Why not ?

#PaperMinis

Well... Wrong cardboard, wrong glue, and probably wrong process.

And I'm not sure I like the look of them on the tabletop.

I do love the illustrations made by Lettuce for those #PaperMinis though. They are from some #ForbiddenPsalm End Times Edition Extras.

Also maybe from #FacePsalm (https://zodiolestes.itch.io/face-psalm)

I haven't found a Lettuce account on Mastodon.
@EvlynMoreau, @bohemiaspielkunst do you know of any in the Fediverse ?

#PaperMinis #Papercraft

I'm trying a different method : I cut the minis off their half bases, and I work on round bases, that I cut and wrap in paper, separately.

I then glue the minis on the base.

I'm done with that experiment with #PaperMinis.

I'll probably do things a little differently if I build others.

@Archiviste_Dragontigre Thanks for sharing your experience! Love your bases.

I think you've got a solid result here. You've done better at making them sturdy on the table than many I've seen.

@Archiviste_Dragontigre
If you're looking for other approaches, something that I've liked is to set a heavy black outline on the outer edges/silhouette and cut to that outline.

OPR's paper minis PDFs include versions that help with this but careful pen work will provide that for nearly any paper minis.

@tuonel
I was thinking of something like this.

I like that (at least) 3mm thick look, so the issue is finding the right material, easy enough to cut along the mini shape.

@Archiviste_Dragontigre ... and if that washer's not stainless steel, you could put magnets in the bottom of your dungeon grid, a- *gets pulled off stage*
