Sharing my droplets of narrative, into the sea of telling tales.

Who wants to read my tales, I share them to escape reality, to get a nice reply and let others live another life for a while!

@SyoVicarious @SyoVicarious I am like Spock, all ears, for what you have to say.

@NicelyManifest Well I start out with a sharing a historical romance.

Yet a tale about Punks in the eighties, a fantasy about an enclosed Northian state vs capitalist east state and a sweet short about musicians is coming up!

@SyoVicarious I love the diversity! Letting imagination express unbridled can be so much fun. I do that with clay creations. No idea where they will get to by the end.
@NicelyManifest Diversity is a gift , and creativity a antidote to the destruction that we are currently facing.
What kind of clay creations do you make...now I am curious!

@SyoVicarious Creativity and the submerging into the flow of the moment is antidote to many things. So stupid that education systems marginalise and seek to downplay the importance of the arts.

A bit offbeat but one of my faves #clay creations.

@NicelyManifest Wauw! That is amazing.
I am truly in awe because I could only make a stupid ashtray in clay.
Very impressive!

@SyoVicarious Thanks. Probably you were taught or approached with an expectation of doing something simple. Watch a few videos to see some simple techniques. And let that catalyse ideas.

And always with fun!

Some things I spend hours making end up truly awful.

@NicelyManifest To be honest, I prefer drawing and photgraphy... 3d isn't my cup of tea and I make a mess of clay!

on https://mastodon.social/@ShirkitVictoria you can get a glimpse of my art work instead of my writing ,)

@SyoVicarious And I can see why - very well forged birds. Kind of like nature fractals. I love photography too - was professional wedding photographer for 4 years some while back.
@NicelyManifest So cool that you were a wedding photographer! I wanted make a living out of photography but alas that didn't work out.
Did one wedding shoot ... but those are stressful, I guess. everything has to pitch perfect at once, without you getting in the way.

@SyoVicarious Stressful and the rest! One time the groom in a wedding was a BBC Camera man. So I felt I was under great scrutiny. They had multiple video cameras at the wedding. One filmer asked for a copy of my stills after they were processed to include in the video.

So funny - the videos were poorly coloured and my stills stood out!

I moved to flower photography in large part because the Panasonic bridger camera captured colours so well. Better than my Canon 5D by a loing way.

@NicelyManifest Oh that is true credit of your work then!

I recently found my old slides again. And I must say, those give the best colours ever, in my opinion.

@SyoVicarious Agreed - Kodachrome 64 needed a lot of light but projecting those slides was a thrill!
