I’m having a late lunch of nasi Padang in a vegetarian restaurant, and the German next to me clearly woke up and chose violence today, because he’s telling the restaurant owner that laksa is Indian, actually, so they’re not actually serving Singaporean cuisine.

@loke I got the impression that he might have “Indonesian” and “Indian” confused, b/c he also accused my nasi Padang of being Indian, but even then it doesn’t make much sense…

@anna I'm just wondering what made this person make these statements in the first place. Thar question remains even if what was stated was true as isolated facts.
