I love how Gumball and Darwin, more often than just here, are completely open about hugging and kissing without any romantic (or sexual) implication, just because they absolutely love each other platonically.

And the show also makes no "gay jokes" about it or anything. (Some show characters say they're too into each other, but also non-romantically.)

I really love that dynamic. (Even though *I* wouldn't usually do the same. 😁)

(Of course I also have no problem with people shipping them romantically! You know me.^^

Just saying, it's a very rare dynamic for characters to hug and kiss without inherent romantic interest in shows, outside of parents kissing their kids and vice versa.)
