I haven't written any p2p related code in about 7 years or so, but I decided to try and make something using @n0iroh for the first time on a whim, and was left incredibly impressed by how quickly I had two peers between berlin and tokyo connected together, swapping data with each other. i think i'd like to start making something useful with it.

i'm also excited to see what eventually comes of the iroh-willow implementation, but for now iroh-docs seems to work well.

@louisc ye im real excited for the 1.0 to land and use it for various projects :>
@cblgh the new custom transport PR that dropped this week is really exciting too. being able to use this over stuff like bluetooth gets me bubbling with ideas
@louisc yes, lots of potential in custom transports! i was quite excited by the tor proof of concept one of their team members made - i think it was using that as well?
@cblgh oh nice. i'm curious, do you have a link for that?
@louisc would you be open to chat a bit on this? and are you maybe willing to share some code? I'm slowly trying to build something on iroh-docs, but I must admit I keep being super confused and frustrated around it, as well as iroh-blobs... 😓 I'd appreciate some chance at any support from somebody smarter than me, and/or maybe help with trying to wrap my head around it... or maybe just some pen-pal willing to accept me sometimes rubber-ducking my confusion off them... but only if that's something you might potentially be ok with 😅
