Linux smartphone users, what phone and OS do you prefer and why?

I'm in the process of learning about Linux OS on smartphones with the goal of eventually using a Linux phone as my daily driver.

What features are most important to you?
What do you mostly do with your phone other than call/text?
What about mobile banking?? >_>
Which phone do you feel pairs best with Linux?

Screen reader users: I am so sorry for what you're about to experience...

@Aiyame
On SailfishOS, banking worked fine through my bank's web app since it is mobile optimized. Mobile key verification, on the other hand, requires android app. But I had no android compatibility layer to test that.

On UbuntuTouch I tried the Waydroid for banking, it worked fine. But neither Morph broswer nor Firefox for UbuntuTouch were mature enough to handle the web interface.

I don't have first-hand experience with postmarketOS, but I would bet that my bank's web interface works on its browser and the android app works under Waydroid.

The result heavily depends on your bank's android app / webapp and how the user validation happens in them.

@Aiyame postmarketOS for me, as it uses mainline kernels as much as possible, is fully FOSS, and is a lot like a Linux desktop OS shrunk down to a phone. Unfortunately not daily driveable due to call audio and camera quality issues, so I still have an Android phone as well. I use the web portals for banking even on Android so I'm not locked to bootloader locked, stock Google Android.
