#Ancestry has a table with really cool high quality #stickers. Germany, England, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, were grabbed up extremely quick. Possibly an indication of attendees that have ancestors from those areas.

A few I picked up for friend.
@AncestryRoads How cool is that! I hope you got the ones you wanted.

@bethroots It was tricky because my ancestors have been in America forever. But I thought this was a great way to show pride for our ancestors.

I am going back and getting the Americas one.

@AncestryRoads I would be looking for all those popular ones, unfortunately. But that's an interesting take about forever. That made me think about how Germany wasn't yet a country when my ancestors left. There have been so many shifting borders, which was discussed in one of the sessions yesterday.

I would be interested to know if they have one for Savoy / Savoie - my "French" GGF had an older half-brother that was born before it was officially folded into France.

A kind person on the old French chat at #FamilySearch offered to look up records for non-French persons. I asked for both half-brothers because the US records weren't consistent for their mother's maiden name. And within a 5-year span they had different types of birth records, which my #genealogy angel explained to me.

@BRMiller @bethroots I didn't see anything for France areas.

But many stickers were already gone.

@AncestryRoads @bethroots

Thanks for checking - I just thought I'd ask after seeing Quebec called out separately.

Not surprised that a lot are gone, or that France may not have for separate areas - but Savoy played a significant part in European history (before the French, anyway).

Thanks again!

@AncestryRoads @BRMiller I'm surprised that Mexico is not on the list of "outs".
@bethroots @BRMiller I am too. I do not know if they ordered the same quanity for each sticker though. They have been popular and really great quality.
