It was a double-tap strike, it could not have been “unintentional.” They dropped a bomb or missile, watched and waited for first responders to go in and help survivors, then dropped a second bomb to kill the first responders. How do you “accidentally” drop a second bomb on the exact same target after carefully making sure that enough innocent first responders were there to kill with the second bomb?

This sounds like a crime against humanity -- which of course will end up unprosecuted, which is a travesty.

@dougmerritt if the rule of law is only applied to people who are not in the “untouchable” political class, there is no rule of law to speak of anywhere. That is, unless you think the “law of the jungle” (law dictated by violence) is a law, but I would call that an absence of the rule of law.

I know what you mean, but a cynic would say that such is how it always has been -- and always will be.

Personally I hope for a better world than that, but it's a pretty thin hope currently.
