One of my many many jobs at work is managing our communications infrastructure. The main office's landline phone system was damaged by a storm last night, and I couldn't get free to go do anything about it in person. I tried to call the cell phone assigned to the fleet dispatcher so they could hand me off to the office manager, and I could coach them on what to do. The dispatcher had their phone turned off though, and I had to get creative in order to grab their attention.
