A year ago I read about radpro, an open source firmware which turns mediocre chinese geiger counters into great geiger counters. I got one, not because I need a geiger counter but who doesn't want to have a decent radiation detector to play with for ~40€.

Now someone cool built radpro-wifi-bridge, a esp32-s3 firmware that connects radpro to a mqtt broker using the esp32's wifi. And it works! Soon my home assistant might have geiger counter measurements 🤓

@moreentropy thanks for mentioning, great you like it! It's not perfect, I have some connection issues with my FS-600 from time to time. But in general it runs very stable. Rest I will figure out. 😁 If you have an issue or a feature idea, feel free to open a GitHub issue.
