The flops has a new #DSLAM to play with (a ZyXEL IES-612-51) 

This unit supports to supply analog phone line input, so it modulates DSL on top and a splitter is needed. My other DSLAM sadly isn't capable of that, however it supports VDSL. This one only ADSL2+ (and possible prior standards too)

@morihofi I'm curious to see how that DSLAM is wired up.

I assume you have a big connector with a bunch of copper wires to some distribution wall or something ?

@l4p1n The first half of that big RJ21 connector is for the DSL(-Output) and the second half is the incoming phone line where the DSL Signal gets modulated on top.

On the other end, the pairs are then terminated and distributed using LSA+ blocks.
