@nihkeys Pistän muistiin, kiitos!

@nihkeys Thanks for sharing this, I like discovering new music too but especially from this sides of African more so in China, I love their music although I don't understand their lyrics.

BTW, Do you also know some artists from Africa that you love? I would enjoy discovering them.✌️

@pacific06 Sadly, I've had a bit of a trouble of finding artists from Africa and China. For China especially it seems that they mostly are active on the Chinese social medias and I can't easily access them (plus the language barrier is a hinderance).

Some years back I learned that Get Physical Music (a Berlin based label) was working with African artists (mostly in SA) and I've found some that way (like Thandi Draai and THEMBA and others).

@nihkeys Ohh yes Alex, since last year I have seen how much you love music. It is very inspiring. I also love cultural music and learning about the background of artists. The songs in the links you shared are interesting, thank you for sharing. Funny enough, I also don’t know Chinese, but I still enjoy their music. In your opinion as someone who knows music well, what does it mean when we love music even without understanding the lyrics?

@pacific06 Hehe, good question! To which I don't really a good answer. I think people connect to music in so many different ways. For some, understanding lyrics is the most important thing, for others, it's the "mood" of the connection, perhaps via some kind of inner self-reflection. And there are also people that don't enjoy any music at all.

For me, lyrics are not that important, although if I understand them and they are great, it just makes a song better.
