It ought to be possible to calculate a formal cap on donations based on registered members.

If donations exceed/massively exceed the amount expected for a party based on the number of members registered then it's an indication that vested interests are attempting to pervert democracy.

Crypto and corporate donations ought to be banned by default on the basis that they encourage foreign influence.
