@georgetakei I think somebody who believes in ghosts, hears voices in their head, bases their values and behaviors on an ancient fiction shouldn't be in a position where they can harm themselves and others. Such a behavior is only tolerated in the Western world when it's called Christian religion and almost nobody is questioning that.

@georgetakei ha ha now the American Taliban is getting deployed overseas, my old comment America lost against the Afghani Taliban because half of them on the ground were like these guys are what we want to be - raping kids and women, having gay sex when it's forbidden for everyone else and confining women only to do housework only etc has come true, now a majority are just Taliban who likes pork & beer, so think they are superior than their Afghani cousins.

The Swedish military (and probably more) used to weed out communists from the mandatory military service during the Cold War. So its not like the concept of keeping certain ideologies out was unheard of.
They just chose to have an open door for the white christian nationalists.
