GitHub status

A more honest third party monitor of GitHub services. The vital service has under 92% of uptime for the last three months. Rumor is they are migrating everything to Azure and it is going very badly

The Missing GitHub Status Page

@timbray @nelson from my recent time working a dual cloud SaaS deployment, Azure is so much NOT AWS!

All your assumptions will be wrong in the most annoying ways and the most inconvenient times.

@timbray @nelson well, kudos to M$ for trying to eat their own dogfood. But lol, as if anything they built was ever actually usable...

Are they using copilot to "accelerate" their migration? Lolololol

@hyc @timbray @nelson they have to use copilot everyone else tells them it is a horrible idea and management got sick of hearing it..... copilot is a well known yes man
@timbray @nelson Shades of Hotmail... History doesn't repeat but it sure does rhyme...
@timbray @nelson kinda...weird decision to host github status monitor on...github
@timbray @nelson also looks like top1 statistics influencer is copilot lol
@timbray @nelson We get slack status updates from github at work, and whoo, boy, there's been a LOT the past few months.

Their login had been completely broken for me recently, is that related? The 2FA tokens did not work, I already had to burn one of the backup codes. I created a new key for 2FA but it would not accept the tokens from it. At one point the login would suddenly accept token from an older key. Later it did not accept any from the three keys I had... Trying it now, it seems finally fixed. #GitHub
@timbray Ushering in the new age of “one 9s” availability. :)
