The Web Conference 2026 (Dubai, April 13-17): Registration deadline is March 10, but organizers won't decide if it's in-person or virtual until March 15.

How do you plan travel, pick a registration tier, or get institutional approval without knowing the format?

@xlth Ouch. Anyway, there's a good chance it will end up being online (or at most hybrid... I don't think they're going to require people to travel given the situation).

@the_heruman That's my expectation too. Hard to imagine they'd require in-person attendance given the circumstances. The tricky part is the registration tier - workshop-only (online) vs full conference (on-site) are different prices, and we need to decide before March 10 without knowing the format.
