Looks like Trump's Iran plan is coming together. Stories about his relationship with his very good friend Jeffrey Epstein have all but vanished from the front page of the New York Times. (Scroll all the way down past the chimp-and-crystals story.)

I know what you're saying. Only a monster would start a war and kill thousands to try and pump polling numbers and direct attention away from the Epstein files.

New York Times still not getting it. There's only one thing at the top of Trump's mind, and that's Trump. Everything else is either incidental or non-existent.
Trump thought starting an illegal war with Iran would boost his polling. Now that his polling is tanking he'll be looking for an exit. He is almost certainly furious with Hegseth, and there's a non-zero chance Hegseth will be joining Noem any day now.
