Note: specifically the English. I'm sure the Scots, the Welsh, the Northern Irish, etc. would all be welcomed back at the drop of a hat.
1) Independence for me, it's not about "the English" it's about a corrupt #westminster ...
2) as a country, you cannot work with diametrically opposed governments...
3) as far as I am aware, Europe has never said that " the "English" as you call them would not be welcomed back into Europe...
4) once #Scotland becomes Independent from the UK I don't think joining the EU would be an issue...
@alexlac51 Yes. An independent Scotland, Wales, et al would likely be welcomed with open arms.
The problem is that the English core of Westminster has always been a bit of a divisive influence on the EU and not exactly what you'd call trustworthy partners.
