I heard Donald Trump doesn't want anyone to see this interview of a Texas Democrat.
The Trump FCC has threatened every show State Rep. James Talarico goes on and this week it was The Late Show's turn in the hot seat. The FCC forced this interview off the airwaves.
We probably should watch it if Trump hates this politician so much.

James Talarico is currently a Texas state house representative. You may have heard his name before bc he was the leading voice against the Fox News fueled hoax that Texas schools were "required to add litter boxes for students who identify as furries".
Talarico was on the right committee at the right time and made the hoax believers pushing anti-litterbox laws look like idoits.

James Talarico is running for the Texas US Senate seat currently held by Republican John Cornyn. The Democrats and Republicans have seperate primaries coming up March 3rd.
I randomly have one degree of separation from Talarico and have been hearing positive things about his tenure in the Texas State House directly from folks who grew up with him for months.
Pretty crazy to now see him getting booted off the air by the FCC.
This Texas US Senate race is clearly going to be a BIG one with a lot of media coverage because Jasmine Crocket is also running in the March 3rd primary for a shot at taking down a typically Republican held Senate seat.
I think in this race Crocket likely has the most name recognition among voters under 40 as she's been on the national stage and an early adopter of social media.
This will be an interesting primary and election cycle
And once again, we're having to watch comedians of all people having to standup for our basic constitutional rights.
It's a relief to see Colbert not take the injustice of the FCC censoring his show laying down.
Colbert was told to quietly drop the interview and not mention it at all on the air. Instead he did the opposite, he aired his option on the bullshit situation during his regular broadcast.

Dallas has always been known for "Voting While Black" problems. For this election the Republicans changed where polling locations would be setup in predominately Black neighborhoods.
Typically they also severely under provision voters, causing many people to wait in lines for HOURS after the official close of polling.

Back in 2020 people at the TSU polling location reported waiting inline up to TWO HOURS after the official close of the line to new comers.
Texas is kinda famous for this band of gerrymandering.
Local Dallas news was able to find voters who were actively trying to locate their polling locations.
IMAGINE needing to get back to work but waiting in a possibly hours long line at the poll you've been going to a for a decade only to be told that you're at the wrong place!
The websites didn't work during the election today and even the night before diligent voters had no idea their location had changed.

OK, this is a WHOLE mess.
The Texas Supreme Court rescinded the extended voting time period after some of those people cast votes.
Its sounds like there's may be some competing lawsuits filed in the morning and for now those extended voting ballots will be put aside and not counted.

Beyond messed up.
I still have not received my voter registration card -- they've delayed long enough to entirely miss the primary, due to the redistricting.
It isn't strictly needed to vote, of course, but it would have the updated precinct & district numbers.
And I voted last week when there were multiple polling locations to choose from.
But this is a mess. And I suspect that's on purpose. 
All part of the nazi plan to win midterms. I bet this isn't happening in stronghold Republican areas.
