Unpopular opinion (maybe?) -- stuff made out of polyester and other plastics should not be called #Fleece! The fluffy stuff shaved off of woolly animals is FLEECE!

Have a few sheepskins, wool & alpaca sweaters & blankets. Used Patagonia gear ~40 years, so plastic, down and hemp clothing.

@stevewfolds Well, yeah. And real leather lasts way longer than the plastic stuff. What's worse? One life for a product that lasts a long time and (if made right) can decompose? Or something that turns into plastic pollution? It's a dilemma.

@DoomsdaysCW I fell through ice in ‘60s and been ok because of wool head to toe. With synthetics or denim it would have been dangerous. Wool gets warm as it dries.

Missed response to your point about plastic pollution. We managed without plastic until ~1950 & have been fouling our environment ever since. :(
