If you must post a story from a #paywalled news site like #TheScotsman , can't you at least give a one line precis so we know wtf we can't read without "agreeing to view personalised ads" and then go read about it from a less aggressive host?

Failure to do so here on #mastodon should be as poorly regarded as not using #alttext imo
