Gimme an "F"
Gimme a "U"

My friend had co-workers walked out from their offices yesterday for being... ready for this? "Insufficiently company-centric"

Yeah. I don't think I was a very good corporate cheerleader either.

"Insufficiently company-centric", what corporate ass-kisser came up with that term, I wonder?

Next up: Loyalty pledges I'm guessing.

@mmiasma Doesn't sound like something that would stand up in court..

@4d3fect

I wouldn't think so either but if you're non-union and salaried, they don't really need much of a reason to fire you.

I'd love to see a former employee challenge them on their evaluation criteria all the same.

"Insufficiently company-centric" seems pretty vague and hard to define.

@mmiasma Just my point. But if the conditions are that bad, being released might be a mercy.
@mmiasma I am so glad I'm retired...

@Jason844

Me too. Something tells me if wasn't I soon would be. I'm a little too candid with my opinions for most corporate cultures I guess.

@mmiasma ugh we had to do a Walmart cheer at the start of the day. Was cringe before that word became popular.

I used to pretend to be busy in the back to avoid it. So glad that job is well in the past for me now.

@Jam123

This is for a white-collar company where everyone is behind a desk.

@mmiasma yea I saw that. Corporate ra ra rah is cringe no matter if you are in an office or on the floor of a store.

@Jam123

Agreed. Funny thing is, I'm loyal to a fault. Every job in my career. But make it performative and I'm going to identify as a problem pretty damn quick.

@mmiasma where’s my company spirit? Bottom left drawer of my desk. Want a snort?

@glasspusher

Always! Mine's up in the kitchen cupboard. Next time you skirt our state's borders, stop in and we'll become loyal corporate citizens for an afternoon. 😆

@mmiasma

I highly recommend that if you have me “walked out” of anywhere… it isn’t into the parking lot where your car is

;-)
