We, @spriebsch and @sebastian, have been frustrated watching great #PHP articles appear, get a moment of attention, and quietly disappear, while AI-generated fluff fills up search results.

This is why we launched PHP Reads: https://phpreads.com/

Every week, we hand-pick articles from across the PHP community that reward careful reading. No ads. No tracking. No vendor submissions. Just writing that actually deserves to be found.

It's free, and will stay free forever.

@phpreads @spriebsch @sebastian I assume I can point my RSS reader somewhere? 😁
@heiglandreas Yep, first thing I looked for too, but the feeds.xml is currently a 404 and also commented out in the HTML. I'm following the @phpreads account in the meantime

@alister @heiglandreas @phpreads also, friendly reminder that all mastodon accounts have their own RSS feed adding a .rss to the end of the url account, in this case:

https://phpc.social/@phpreads.rss

@phpreads @spriebsch @sebastian Could do with a lovely avatar though!
@derickr How do you like the logo?
@spriebsch Works for me!
@derickr I'm glad you approve ;-) Dinner at IPC?
@spriebsch I'm not coming. They mess me about too much and it takes months for invoices to get paid
@derickr Sorry to hear that. Then it'll be some other time. I'm still thinking about calling a "PHP Founders Meeting" this year. Would you join?
@spriebsch It depends on when, and where, and other details.
@derickr that reminded me of something, thanks
@phpreads @spriebsch @sebastian Will there be an RSS feed available?
@chaos0815 An RSS feed is on the roadmap, as is a newsletter.
@chaos0815 @phpreads @sebastian Yes, that's the next todo on our list for phpreads.com
@phpreads @spriebsch @sebastian thank you for this!
@danielthedaring @phpreads @sebastian You're very welcome. We published the second issue today, by the way. https://phpreads.com
