While in residency at Media Art Days, I had a chance to attend the testing of a possible future public lightartwork of Detlef Hartung in Skjern, called Asterisk. I sure hope it will get realised, since even with the test material it was pretty awesome! Light and water reflections made the space quite surreal and multi-levelled, making it all new, somehow without a collision. The site is a former water basin base, transformed into an art structure (is the closest definition I can come up with, but it, too, is super cool anyway).
