The question is not:
"Will AI replace us?"

The question is:
"Will AI magnify our lowest drives or our highest integrations?"

@lankohr Ah, I like that framing! In a strange way AI could be seen as humanity's cognitive offspring --mind externalizing itself in new substrate. Nietzsche asked, "Have I been understood? Perhaps the answer arrives a century later through new forms of intelligence.
