@fathermcgruder A rail bridge is pretty much the ONLY thing I'd support, and I'm not enthusiastic even about that. A motor bridge is certainly understandable -- I would use it myself -- but simply not warranted. The present Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges, together with the ferries, are sufficient, even if we all hate them. More motorway just breeds more traffic, to everyone's eventual detriment.
