At this point, it would make sense for Apple to increase the Apple Developer fee.

But on the other hand, I’m pretty sure they are happy with selling the shovel.

I still give it one year for people to realize that their generated app made zero dollars but still costs tokens.

@obrhoff Yes totally agree. The barrier to entry is quite low currently. However no sure raising the annual fee to $1,000 would make a huge difference.

@martind $1000 is ofc very high. Regardless in which direction you move that fee, there will be causalities.
