So I just discovered Tremors, and I'm thinking this would be a really good Call of Cthulhu scenario.
Does anyone know of a existing conversion that would save me some work? or adventures based on a similar premise?

@Canageek Not directly, but Dark Conspiracy (1991) has Slithers as beasties, and it's very much a "find monsters and unload a wall of guns into them" game. I used Slithers anytime players went into desert wastelands.
You can get all of 1E (better horror flavor, but a little wonky) or 2E (duller, more complex, but more balanced) on CD-ROMs at

The Mike Stackpole novels are *AMAZING*.

@mdhughes @Canageek I had a rough concept of the game and its system (I'm one of the few people who likes Traveller: New Era), and just recently came across it again when I saw that a somewhat popular political podcaster wrote some stuff for it back in the days.
But nothing prepares you for that image. You fully expect a lesser Estevez brother to make an appearance any time soon.
