Anyone have recommendations for a web based accounting program, suitable for small business, that can be self-hosted?

#business #selfhost

@matthew I'd recommend Firefly III, used1 it for family & small company finances, and worked a treat.

I hope this is the kind of thing you mean with accounting - if not, sorry for the noise.

    Thank you. I'll check out Firefly.

    I did already click through and read some about it.

    Off the top of your head, do you know if scans or digital prints (PDF) of receipts can be uploaded and associated with transactions?

    @matthew IIRC, yes, you can upload files and link them to bills (and possibly other objects)

    @matthew

    #Akaunting is probably what you need.

    I think #InvoiceNinja also does basic accounting.

    Firefly III is more of a persona finance tool.

    @matthew

    It's a bit more than an accounting programming, but perhaps #Odoo? (Previously OpenERP)

    The licensing is a bit quirky, and doesn't do them any favours, but you can use a single module (I.e. accounting) for free on their cloud platform (hosted on OVH), and it is self-hostable if you want to.

    @matthew I haven't used it myself but this has been around for a long time: https://www.sql-ledger.com/
