Couldn't resist picking this up... #muzak #vinyl #record. I have a bunch of music library records (from Canada, France, UK and US), but I don't think I had any muzak vinyl (aka elevator music).

They took themselves pretty seriously... the back of the vinyl record album jacket has a plot under the heading "a unique programming concept". The plot has the track number on the X axis and each line has a different variable. Things like bpm, number of instruments etc. Supposedly the more to the right, the more the (passive) listeners are stimulated.

@steter first track is "Nadia's theme (for Nadia Olympic Champ)". That would be Nadia Comaneci from Romania. Had the first perfect 10 score in gymnastics at the Olympics, Montreal, 1976. She used a song that was renamed Nadia's theme after the olympics.

@f_dion I remember that. I don't recall hearing it in any elevator, but that's worth the price of entry. Curse dispelled.
