I always wondered why row gauge was even measured, as for most garments, stitch gauge is important for fit, and rows can easily be adjusted for fit while the project is in progress. Then, the first time I attempted something that had to look like something (other than a stranded pattern), I discovered where the combined gauge becomes vital. Mine looked super distorted!

@monstreline I have done some before where I was definitely off a little bit and didnt have the pattern coming through well at all lol. But I've found i really like doing colourwork now.
