Huhโ€ฆ ICBC (the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia - BC's public auto-insurance corp) sent out an email explaining the rules and best practices for using a roundabout.

We're getting a new roundabout on an important intersection of Highway 4 in #PortAlberni. They're building it now at Hwy4 and Beaver Creek Road. Quite the project!

This is a handy primer/reminder on how to use roundabouts. Most people around here seem either clueless or terrified of them. lol

@chris

Good to have. I've seen drivers ripping through the small roundabouts in Vancouver side streets: No signals, since they are small roundabouts. Speed (in a 30 km zone) into it to ensure "I got here first, so get out of my way". Of course, if everyone drives that way, entering with that mentality, well... ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿš—

@thegreenpagesBC @chris Then there's my friend who, if they were empty, liked to go around a couple times to achieve escape velocity.
