Historical materialist analyses are sorely missing in making sense of the world affairs, as with cultural theory, and theory-informed action.

Lack of adequate historical materialist analyses, and urgency of such 2-pronged, materialist & cultural unpacking at scale, are devastating in an era of irreversible ecosystem decimation, endangering current and future generations, and all life on planet Earth, and yet can be overcome, still.

Building durable and principled #structural change is very hard but #possible with #epistemic #kindredspirits who share historical materialist, postcolonial/decolonial and cultural values and pillars, instead of #transactionalism (highly prevalent in these times) that lacks historical, materialist, critical and cultural grounding, and thus, results, in most situations, in dissipating and dissolving the #liberatory #struggles into thin air.
