Still getting blown-out CSS for the iPhone 17e tech specs page in all browsers. https://www.apple.com/iphone-17e/specs/

And it's not appearing on Apple's site. @gruber linked to a comparison page that's now not showing it so it must have been there before. Perhaps a CDN failure?

Apple
@adamengst @gruber Yeah, it was there, and now I'm not seeing it.
@dmoren @adamengst Seeing this now, but it was definitely there an hour ago:
@dmoren @adamengst The iPad Compare page doesn't list the new M4 Air, right at this moment, either:
@gruber @adamengst I definitely used this when writing my Six Colors post, so I imagine it’s a CDN problem. Maybe they had to roll something back?
@dmoren @adamengst Jiminy, the entire iPad Air product page has gone back to the M3 at the moment:
https://www.apple.com/ipad-air/
@gruber @dmoren And there's all sorts of variable cruft in the comparison page.

@gruber @dmoren I'd love to know if there are klaxons going off somewhere in Cupertino and sweating geeks being addressed by a drill sergeant-like product manager. "FIX THE SITE NOW!"

Or maybe they just haven't noticed.

@gruber @dmoren Must have been klaxons. The site's back now with 17e details.

Apple
@adamengst @gruber @dmoren the "built-in apps" section still has old iWork icons
@gruber @dmoren @adamengst It’s all part of the “experience.”
@gruber @dmoren @adamengst I’m sure it’ll be sorted. Would be nice if it didn’t happen but right now there may be bigger problems. #justsaying

@dmoren @gruber @adamengst Someone’s really embarrassed about the Air still using Touch ID.

Or that’s what I tell myself.
