@Dialectician @gerrymcgovern not sure the original intent, but more or less agree – we are already inflecting on population, but how gracefully we get through this period depends on everyone's actions. What we do matters.

Some say concepts such as degrowth are too brutal. That we need marketing concepts such as "fun with less". And that we must promise abundant 'renewable' energy and lovely Green Transitions in valleys of overflowing 'green' growth

But the future, even if we make the very best choices, will be painful. And right now, as we are making the very worst choices possible, the future is bleak and horrible.
